Multicultural Community Centre

The Multicultural Community Centre (MCC) is one of ICC’s sister organisations and was established in 1989 to meet the needs of Brisbane’s culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community. MCC was formally incorporated in 1996 and operates as a charitable organisation, primarily assisting migrants, refugees, the disadvantaged, the poor and the elderly, through government-funded programs and training.

MCC also hosts various public events and festivals each year, including the Technicolour Multicultural Festival which attracts over 2000 visitors.

MCC won the QLD Multicultural Award for Excellence in Training in 2016

Asian Pacific Institute

(API) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 6153| CRICOS 01888B). It partners with MCC to provide suitable courses to migrants and those from culturally and linguistically diverse background (CALD) community. The aim to help them attain Australian qualifications that lead to sustainable employment.

Asian Pacific Institute also trades as International Christian College This is the theological department which aims to equip Christians to be effective ministers in contemporary, multicultural society.

DIVERCITI 

Diverciti Centre

The Diverciti Centre is the official name of the building and is available for hire for various corporate, government and community conferences and events like musical concerts and school graduations.

Diverciti Services

Diverciti Services was born out of a heart for social justice for the marginalised. As a provider of excellent commercial cleaning and home maintenance services, Diverciti’s services are performed by migrants who are paid above award wages in an otherwise unregulated industry. With profits going to a group of orphanages in Nepal and Kenya, you can be sure these services are going towards a great cause.
